This year's theme was \"The Age of Digital Technologies: A Legal Perspective on the Future.\" The Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan invited the Ministry of Government Legislation to give a presentation on the topic of \"Modern Regulatory Policy: Trends and Prospects.\"\n\nOn Thursday, May 29, our delegation met with Director General of the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan and other officials and expressed their appreciation for the invitation. In addition, the delegation also shared the implementation progress of establishing the \"Council of Asian Legislative Institutions (CALI)\" for development of laws and systems of Asia and proposed the participation of the Ministry of Justice. They discussed the direction of the \"Consulting Project on Improving the Legal Information System of Uzbekistan,\" which was selected as a new Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP) project.\n\nOn Friday, May 30, Legislative Deliberation Official Seo Bo-kyung, the head of the delegation, introduced statutes concerning a \"regulatory sandbox\" - one of the government's regulatory reform efforts to adapt to the digital age ? at the conference. He also shared opinions on the outlook for modern regulatory policy with the conference attendees.\n\n\"Uzbekistan is a key partner country in the Central Asian region.
