guests joining us today.\nThe climate crisis is directly threatening our lives,\nleading to natural disasters and inflation\ncaused by fluctuating prices of agricultural products.\nMoreover, there is a famous saying that goes\n“this will be the coolest summer for the rest of our lives.”\nReflecting this grim reality,\nmany expect that the climate crisis will worsen day by day.\nTherefore, urgent and unified action\nfrom the international community is vital to protecting our future.\n\n-- 6 of 8 --\n\n- 7 -\nTo boost our climate response,\nKorean government is advancing\nthe Korea Green Transformation, K-GX\nand expanding our cooperation\nwith Korea-based international organizations,\nsuch as the GCF and GGGI.\nThrough these efforts,\nwe aim to establish a positive cycle\nwhere climate response directly drives future growth.\nI would like to ask GGGI and the GCF\nto further strengthen their cooperation\nso that this positive cycle can become an international model.\nKorea’s climate technologies and development experience,\nthe project development capabilities of GGGI,\nand the financial resources of the GCF.\nBy bringing these together, we can deliver truly tangible outcomes.\nSpecifically, we are working with the UNFCCC and GGGI\nto establish the Global Voluntary Carbon Market, GVCM.\nWhat if we can monetize GCF’s mitigation outcomes\nby converting them into
